When was the last time you spent 30-minutes one-on-one with a doctor? I’m not talking about sitting in the waiting room either…I mean actually being evaluated and treated by the doctor. Probably never, right? Well, at Advantage Walk-In Chiropractic’s Spine and Disc center you do! It’s the quality treatment time spent with the patient that can make the difference in progress.

We listen…we observe…we care…and we don’t chase pain. “If you have pain, you have a movement problem.” We spend time with you to fix the problem! Our program is centered on YOU as the individual.

Dr. Jamie Ricks has been freeing people from pain as a licensed chiropractor since 2001 in his clinic in Boise, Idaho. After receiving his associate degree at Ricks College, Dr. Ricks continued his education through Excelsior College where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree, from there he attended Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, Oregon. In the fall of 2001, he graduated with his Doctorate of Chiropractic. Soon after, Dr. Ricks became licensed in the state of Idaho, and earned his certification as a strength and conditioning specialist as well as his certification as a decompression therapy practitioner. He immediately began working for Advantage Walk-In Chiropractic and just three short years later, opened a second clinic in East Boise.

As a Chiropractor with experience, he is committed to promoting the health and well being of his patients. Dr. Ricks uses a “whole person approach” when taking care of his patients. By combining the very best hands-on-technique, state of the art physiotherapy procedures such as spinal decompression and rehabilitation. He is able to help you accelerate and/or maintain your journey to good health.

Doctor of Chiropractic - Master of Positive Psychology - Advanced Certified in Chiropractic BioPhysics®

Dr. Jill Van Landghen, D.C., M.S.P.P.

Dr. Jill is a dedicated chiropractor with a passion for helping patients achieve long-term spinal health and overall well-being. She earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree and Master of Positive Psychology from Life University in Atlanta, Georgia.

She also holds advanced certifications in Chiropractic BioPhysics® (CBP)-the most researched, results-oriented chiropractic technique for structural spinal correction.

Originally from Wisconsin, Dr. Jill has also lived in Atlanta, Las Vegas, and Orlando while completing her education and building her career. In practice for over six years, she specializes in spinal correction, posture restoration, and long-term structural rehabilitation. Dr. Jill’s approach combines evidence-based chiropractic care with principles of positive psychology, empowering patients to not only improve their physical alignment but also their mindset and well-being.

Her path to chiropractic care is deeply personal. After struggling with debilitating migraines and undergoing an unsuccessful scoliosis surgery as a child, Dr. Jill turned to chiropractic as a way to restore her health and quality of life. This experience fueled her passion for helping others find lasting relief and regain hope when conventional treatments fall short.

When she’s not in the office, Dr. Jill enjoys hiking, paddle boarding, camping and traveling, and finds joy exploring the outdoors with her family. Recently married, she enjoys life with her family- including her kids, dogs, and cats, who all keep her busy and fulfilled outside of the practice.

Dr. Paul Beck, D.C.

Dr. Paul Beck is a chiropractor with over 22 years of clinical experience, committed to helping patients restore function and improve their quality of life.

A 2003 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic, Dr. Beck integrates a strong foundation in chiropractic care with advanced therapeutic technologies to treat a wide range of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.

Dr. Beck is a Certified Spinal Decompression Specialist, offering advanced non-surgical spinal decompression therapy to treat disc-related issues, including bulging discs, degenerative disc disease, and chronic low back pain. Other areas of clinical focus are shockwave and laser therapy to support healing in patients with peripheral neuropathy and soft tissue damage. Dr. Beck utilizes a variety of adjusting techniques—both manual and instrument-assisted—to tailor care to each patient’s individual needs. He also has experience treating Pickleball injuries, a growing concern in today’s active populations.

Dr. Beck believes in a collaborative approach to care, working closely with his patients to improve not just symptoms, but overall health and function. His goal is to help individuals return to the activities they enjoy—pain-free and with greater resilience.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Beck is a devoted husband and father of six. He enjoys spending time outdoors, especially dirt biking, camping, and exploring nature with his family.

Dr. Beck served as a combat medic in the U.S. Army, including a deployment to Afghanistan, where he provided critical care under high-pressure conditions. His military experience continues to shape his disciplined, compassionate, and results-driven approach to patient care.
