Find the right location
Look for a place that is highly rated and recommended by others. In the reviews see if there are any common masseuses mentioned as being exceptional and schedule an appointment with whoever that is.
Let them know it’s your first time
Most places take customer service very seriously. The more they know the more they can make sure to accommodate your needs. Before hand they will let you know what is going on throughout the process.
Dressed or naked?
This is really up to you. The massage therapist will instruct you to get underneath a covering and will never reveal any of your private parts. What you decide to do with clothing will depend on your comfort level.
A good therapist will talk to you throughout unless asked not to. They will let you know what they are doing. If you are ever uncomfortable tell them and they will stop immediately.
Drink Lots of Water
Even though it is very relaxing you will feel very dehydrated afterward, be sure to drink lots of water and take your time getting out of the bed.
